Does anyone have an old Cherubini Hunter 25 1976 manual that indicates how to rig and what type of line to use when replacing running rigging? I would appreciate any advice or suggestions. If you indeed have this information, I would certainly pay for the expense of sending it to me, thanks.

running rigging

jib sheets were 3/8 yacht cord by seventy feet long. two snatch blocks were supplied and attached to the toe rail to accommodate whatever size foresail you might have. what else do you need?

running rigging

Excuse my ignorance, I started sailing on the ocean when I was 16 (1976) but it has been 18 years since I last sailed (college, marriage and kids pre-occupied my time) so I have forgotten alot of the simple basics. What about the boom, sail is threated through boom and pulled tight via rope underneath? I know I sound basic but my boat is a bit different than the 16' daysailor I sailed. Thanks for putting up with my ignorance.

outhaul

If the boom is original you have two lines running through it. One is the outhaul and one for the reefing system. Both take 18 feet if 1/4" cordage. Resist the temptation to size the line up, because you will not be able to fish it through the boom. Ask me how I know.
