I watched a video about it. Looks plausible, but before I spent $240 each, I'd try a golf umbrella in a clamp-on adjustable holder.

I have one

I have a Mantis. I forget the model number but it was a factory second so it was much cheaper and the only thing wrong was uneven anodizing on the aluminum. Big deal. I had to cut off some of the shafting for it to fit under the boom when I use the clamp bracket on the companionway. Yes it works OK and can be used under sail in less that so many knots. (They recommend the limits). I also have something called a Boatbrella that is like a very large golf umbrella that cannot be used while sailing. Both are OK while at the dock but I have a boom tent I made out of a tarp and wood. Kind of a pain to set up but you don't have to keep moving it around as the sun changes angles. A bimini on a small boat like a C-22 would be a real pain I would think but I see a lot of people have then down South. I've had a few days on Lake Erie where it would be nice. Larger boats with bimini's are great and the only way to cruise long distances. For me the C-22 is a day sailor only.
