Hi Hielke

I agree with that. I am now installing them in the UK having seen how great
they are in Holland. Arend has sent me full instructions, phots and
drawings. If anyone needs any information in the UK then please contact me.

And if you do find out that steering is causing problems / your slip is to
small etc. etc. you could always consider installing an extra internal
rudder!
Arend Schram in the Netherlands (Vega-Kring NL) supplies these (in kit form,
complete with instructions) they make a Vega turn around in it's own length
from a stopped position!

Good morning All,
on my Vega 1033 we have the original T-rails for the jibsheets (I may not
use the correct English phrases...) with knurled grabscrews holding them in
place. (I know that the very first Vega's had cage-type rails, which I still
have for the main sheet carriage)
One of these screws on my Vega was broken (over tightened?) and I managed to
get it out with a left-handed wiretap. I did the grand-tour around my
hometown (Alphen aan den Rijn in Holland) but was not able to buy a new
screw...
1) does anyone know which kind of threat is used on these screws?
2) does anyone know where to order these (one or two) or does anybody has
one of them left somewhere?
In short: help! :) In the meantime we'll probably just hold the carriage in
place with a bungee cord aft en a little rope in front...
Thanks for the advise/help,
Hielke van Oostrum

I've replaced my carriage's with Barton Genoa Cars. I can't remember what
size they are, but they're a perfect fit on the track. All you need to do is
to drill a few locating holes in the track for for/aft adjustment.
