A helping hand

Hi B, Wow I was reading all the threads connected to your recent experience and purchase of your new boat. My goodness so many persons with so much to share! There is no doubt you can do most if not all the work Tuki Bird requires to restore her to your liking. For the last 5 months that's all I've been doing with Lonesome Dove. I have been sewing upholstery and cushions here in Barnegat (Jersey) for the last four years professionally, there are a ton of tricks and suggestions that I could offer if you need help. Just give a shout but Princess gave you great instruction already. The trick comes when you're doing corners with banding and zippers that can get difficult sometimes and there are hints for making this professional and exact. Good luck in everything you do with the children, husband and new love of your life, boat. Laurie

Laurie, I for one want to hear some of your ideas,

tricks and suggestions. I especially liked Princesses suggestion of bagging the foam and drawing vacuum on it before struggling to put them in the covers. I'd also like to hear more from the pro about corners and zippers. Thanks, Frank
