i am considering making new cushion covers for my Catalina 22 (1979). I remember reading some instructions for this in my Cat 22 magazine a few years ago, but stupid me did not save them. Does anyone out there have these or simliar instructions?

Cushions

I had all the covers replaced on my Catalina 22 (#10583). I went to a local upholsterer (sp) with my cushions. He recognized the original fabric and was able to suggest a series of good material. All of my cushions were redone for about $650.00. I have had them on the boat now for 2 years and they still look great. I simply droped off my cushions and they used the old covers (some in very bad condition) as templates. The guy said the original material was very good but was easily damaged by sunlight. My only damaged cushions were directly under the hatch. You definetly want the backs kept vinyl. I reused the old backs and saved 50% on material. The original material could not be duplicated so I did not want to do just 1 or 2 cushions. Frank
