Make of Depth Sounder

I have 1983 Hunter 34 with an electronics pod at the helm. The depth sounder is broken and needs repair, however, I can't identify the mgr. There is a logo which is an "M" with a "U" under and around it. There's a dot on top of each leg of the "U". Can anyone identify the manufacturer?

Do yourself a favor and buy a new one...

For an '83 Hunter...who knows how accurate a depthsounder might be??? For the cost of repair, I'd bet you could purchase a new depthsounder (with about 10 times the accuracy)...good luck!

Cheaper and more accurate?

If you can fix things ourself, or know someone with a little electronics skill, a repair can be quite inexpensive, adn rewarding. I fixed my own Autohelm 4000 control head. Knowing how these things work, I don't understand the accuracy comment. Can you explain?Thanks,jv
