I have an Oday 25 that I am restoring. One item that I need is the mainsheet traveler track and the traveler itself. Can someone please tell where I can get these parts. I went on the D&R site and they did not have anything like this available. Thanks for your help! Jason

OEM was Schaffer Marine

Jason, My '77 O'25 had a Schaffer Marine traveller and mainsheet system. The traveller track was actually genoa track with a slide and screw-in stops and a series 3 fiddle block with a cam cleat for the main sheet. Check out their website @schaffermarine.com. Good luck,PM

New Traveler

I have an O'Day 26, two years ago I replaced my original traveler with a longer track and a Harken traveler. Go to West Marine or a simular store and look in the back of a Harken catalog ,page 204 example #3.You will see many other set ups for what you need.It lists all the Harken parts you will need on each example. I changed to a little longer (about a foot) track also so I have more adjustments while I am sailing. I chose to install a system with a continous line that allows me to adjust the traveler at any time. It is the best modification you will ever make to your boat. Also try self tailing winches. What a joy to have both of these modifications.

New traveler

Hi Jason - As Neil indicated, it's not tough to upgrade your traveler with a different make. There are lots of options out there. Harken and Shaefer make good products for sure, but you might check out Gargauer for price (see Related link). It's best to take some measurements and make some phone calls. Best of luck, Trevor
