I am going to buy a new mainsheet tomorrow and need to know the length. I had 54 feet i think before for my measurement but i searched archives today and found 70'. is my length i had wrong? i dotn want to buy a huge amount of extra di ti cost. Anyone happen to randomly know this?

I'm sure it's not 70 feet.
I believe I bought 70 feet of mainsheet to use with the mainsheet tackle for stepping the mast with Peter Suah's system. That was much, much more than needed for use as a mainsheet. My boat's in the driveway, I'll get you some kind of measurement tomorrow. Mac
