Need to replace my Mainsheet on a Hunter 30-2. Want to confirm length and diameter. Prior owner had lines that were short and small diameter. Can I also get proper size to replace my jib sheets.

Thank You

My 30-2 is mostly modified I'm running 5/8 jib sheets maybe because j is modified or because selftail lemar 40's worn out

O yea 3/8" 6-1 on track with 10' in the cockpit 50 ' should do. Now the jib sheets they some big 5/8" lines 50' in length . I always take lines off pull messenger in haylards and take to store and tell what I want different

I know this is not the answer you seek, but my B323 with traveler in front of the main hatch calls for a OEM of 59 feet, but find 42 to be enough. 3/8 line. /// Jib sheets are 3/8/10 mm, 32 feet.

Do you find 3/8 to be a little light on a breezy day? I saw a recommendation to go with Sta-Set or good yacht braid. Any ideas?

Thanks for the suggestions.

Chris, the lines today are so much stronger for their Dia than in the past that I doubt that strength would be an issue. The bigger factor is probably that a larger Dia would be easier on the hands.
