Does anyone know what the fiberglass risers are made of? I'm wanting to drill holes through them to run lines back from the mast. I have an Oday 28

Can you see the underside of the risers from inside the cabin? Which risers do you mean? For the traveller track? Do you have a picture? On my 272, there are two sets of risers: one set for deck organizers and one set for the traveller track.
Both sets are molded and hollow inside. I did redrill mine to mount new organizers and to mount new riser-extensions for my new flat traveller track. There is a metal plate inside the risers for the traveller track.

Thanks,
Andrew

Yes they are the traveller track risers and the underside in the cabin only shows three bolts.

Can you show a photo? I doubt they are solid. You could probably drill a hole and glue or epoxy in some tubes to let lines run through, but you might be creating a likely source of tangles.
Why do you want to do this?

My main sheet ran forward through a standing turning block and then through a deck organizer and back to a clutch. It was a poor design, so I replaced the blocks with a 4:1 fiddle setup with a cam cleat facing aft. I now control the main sheet from the center of the cockpit directly above the traveller car. It works great. Maybe that would work for you?

I forgot to take a picture but when I drilled through the main traveller risers I found that they are filled solid with a blue-green clay like material, I am going to glue in pvc pipe and run my lines through to rope clutches, When I am done I will post picts,
