I just blew my mainsail yesterday on my 1987 Ericson 34. It was an older but still very serviceable North measuring 37' 3" on the luff and 12'6" on the foot. I haven't found a good match on the used sails sites and the sail loft figures on this site do not match mine. Questions: (1) suggestions on finding sails for an Ericson 34? (2) do these measurements correspond with your figures?

Mine is from a tall rig. I forget the luff. I could measure it if you want to tell me about what you want to pay without shipping. It is fine. I just got full battens in my new one.

Thank you for your invitation. You are very kind. 2 days after my post i found a used sail off a Tartan 34 at Atlantic Sail resellers in FL. It's 3" shorter on the boom than ideal, about the same short on the luff. i sail in Mattapoisett Bay which gets winds like SF Bay, so I didn't mind the smaller size. I have sailed with it twice - very positive results but haven't found a 20 mph wind yet to test it in that environment. Incidentally I found out the mast and boom measurements for the E 34 are identical to the E 35 Mark III (their last version). The only real difference between the 2 hulls is in the transom cap - it makes the E 34 about 6 inches shorter on the waterline.
