Any opinions about stack pack type main covers? Do they have much affect on performance? Are they noisy underway? I'm considering a Sailrite kit.

I installed a MackPack on my Hunter 29.5, last year. I absolutely love it. Bagging the sail is so much easier. The large main on my boat was a real bear for me to flake and cover.

Sorry, to answer your questions:
No, didn't notice any noise at all.
There is an increase in windage, but I only notice it when docking. Since it's at the same angle as the main, I haven't seen any effect to the performance.
