Great thread on use of two golf cart batts thats exactly what I am going to do THANKS!!!!
Question is I want to use the Blue Sea batt post fuse terminal believe the number is 5191
If you use two batts to make 12 volts should you use two terminal fuses on both batteries? Or is one suficient?
Followed you recomendations and sourced those big ass heavy duty batt terminal lugs and bought the accompaning crimper
As heavy duty is those lugs are the 5191 terminal seems a bit light weight Does anyone produce a heavier duty post terminal IF so where could I source one?
Plan to use 300 amp fuses MRBF ones
Also have the fuse blocks to mount on the wall and are plenty heavy duty for any use
but I like the idea of having my batts fused directly on the terminal dont know if the wall ones could be mounted close enough for the seven inch rule
Miami show less than two weeks can't wait
