I'm looking for some good spots for next year. I figure we can easily make Muscongus Bay in a two day jaunt. Any body have any favorite spots they'd like to share? Sheepscot, Linkin, Johns? We don't need tourist stuff , just a trail to run and a quite cove.

Hi Don,
We kinda used the Maine Cruisers guide and the Maine Island Trail Association (MITA) for destinations in the past. Even old copies have some good information.

Thanks for answering.

We have a copy of the Cruisers Guide (by the Tafts) and it seems pretty good, but there are places that I THINK we can go that they don't mention. So I'm not sure if they just didn't include them or if they aren't options.

The MITA is a good idea. Membership is $45 and comes with a boat load (pun intended) of links, charts and maps. Maybe it's a good father's day gift?
