We just lost our local CNG supplier in southern Maine(Handyboat). Do any of you Maine guys know of another source? Will I have to drive to Mass?

According to the SafGas site, below are CNG fuel locations:

I haven't confirmed any of these, but am curious as I use CNG.

We usually drive up from New Brunswick, Canada and go to Southwest harbour, at the HINKLEY yard, they carry it there as well

Thanks guys. I did know about most of those except Landing whom I just called. They are close to me so problem solved.

I'd also check w/ the local gas company seeing how you're in Portland.
Key Span/National Grid or whatever they're calling themselves today, have fleets of trucks that run on CNG. The state also has rigs that run on CNG so they're filling up somewhere.

No public refilling stations in Maine. I would have to drive to NH or MA to refill after I fabricate an adapter. Kind of funny considering the greater Portland council of governments pushes automotive CNG conversion.

The only filling station in Maine is owned by the Portland transit company and will not allow public refills.

At least you have a swap place close to you, even if one did close. We just swapped out one of ours. We have a backup tank on board, but it's easier to take the MT in rather than moving the backup tank - all I had was coffee but just two of the four pancakes I was preparing!
