main sheet halyard to cockpit

Does anyone have some good pictures of the entire running with blocks from the main back to the cockpit. I want to route my lines back for easier handling for one person. I need as much info as possible. Also, I am not sure how to open pictures on this site. If someone has some insight, it would be appreciated, This site is a big help fora beginner that is I ever get the boat back. It is going to be in time to cover it for the winter.

If you look at the tabs at the top of the page goto "Boat Info" then Owner Modifications Click your boat and there are writeups from other owners. In fact this was there for the 23 titled How to run your halyards to the cockpit on a H23. Hope this helps!

Route ropes through blocks at the mast then back to the cockpit through clutches or cam cleats. All my halyards, sheets, etc. lead to the cockpit. It avoids crew on the deck and allows single handling sailing. Feel free to contact me at sjpenny5@gmail.com and I will be happy to assist you.

Solution on an h27

Here is my solution on '77 H27.

The differences with the h23 mod posted byShane82 are reasonable alternatives for the h23:

- I brought the halyards off the mast using cheek blocks.
- Added a cleat in line with the clutch and the winch - you have room for this on your h23.
