Go to ANY online sailing website and search through their hardware inventory. When you find a picture of something you think might work, make a note of the block's description or its name. Once you have that you can fine tune your search with google and often discover a number of sources for you to compare items and make make your choice.I need one my project boat is missing it, and Starboard traveler block.
Not necessarily. So holes are not through bolted?
Hi Joe:Thanks,Joe. I'll try your suggestions. It's been difficult to get the correct mounting. I'll take a picture and send it to you. Perhaps you can help me write a correct description, you seem very familiar with sailboat jargon. This particular one has four(4) mounting screws. My base bracket only has two(2).
Perhaps I'll have to change the base mount. Do you know if the base mount is through bolted, or just screws?
Thanks,

There are many ways to handle this. In the end you want something to attach a modern mainsheet block to. You can modify your existing hardware or you can install a pad eye. I would try to find a four screw pad eye but I wouldn't exect the screw holes to line up. You'll likely have to fill in the old ones and drill new ones
