I am wondering about the two general rules that seem to be in conflict with each other.1. Keep the top batten parallel to the boom,2. Top Tell tale should stream aft in winds over 10 (I think that's the right speed)I have started to crew on a J-30. The skipper tells me to keep the top batten parallel to the boom dispite the fact the top tell tale is behind the sail in winds over 15.On my SJ 21, I have not worried about the batten position, but keep an eye on the top tell tale. In light winds, i have it flicking out about 50%, in moderate winds I have it streaming aft. What is the best way to set the main?
