I have a 1975 Newport 27. I am having difficulty raising the main sail and the problem seems to be the battens getting stuck in the "Lazy Jacks" at various stages of being raised. Even while directly into the wind the main sail will LUFF enough while being raised to have the battens get stuck. I would rather not remove the "Lazy Jacks". Any suggestions? Can the "Lazy Jacks" be adjusted? Thanks, Gary
