Main or Genoa Alone???

Hi, all. I have an '88 Hunter 28.5, with the shoal (4') keel. I'm just curious as to which "arrangement" would work better in medium to heavy air if the goal is: "just have a nice, relaxing sail without the the decks awash"...under Main alone or under just my 150 Genoa alone? Thoughts?

I ran...

a 130 on my 28.5 and it sailed very well and pointed like a big dog with just the genoa. I'm afraid the 150 won't do near as well in anything above moderate winds. Definately checkout the H28.5 site. BTW mine was deep keel.
