Dave:All the halyards should be 7/16". I used Sta-set and I think I went with 110' (probably a little long). I think that you should be able to calculate it based on the mast dimension (41.5' tall). I went with Sta-setx 1/2" on the main, and wished I would not have done this. The Sta-setx is a little hard on the hands. It has slightly lower stretch. Performance Yacht www.Pyacht.com is a good place for halyards. Also you want eyes spliced in for shackles. Tying knots weakens the line by a very large percentage of the ropes strength. You can find an easy way to change the halyards that we used in the photo forum. We used a large paper clip and a little riggin tape. Quick, easy and safe method.
