I'm trying to rig my new mast for the 1983 MacGregor 22 I just bought... but the previous owner had it rigged wrong... and the instruction sheet I have doesn't show where the block (pulley) for the main halyard goes on the masthead... it's apparently called a 'cheek pulley'... which I think I've identified... but I can't figure out where it should be mounted on the masthead to stop the mainsail at the top when hoisted. The other problem is the jib halyard ring block... which the previous owner mounted to the side of the mast with two bolts... it doesn't have a ring on top of the block... if I get a replacement block... should it be mounted next to the forestay attachment... allowing it to hang and swing freely?Any help would be much appreciated...Thanks,John Blake
