Main cabin accomodations in 1980 H27

Has anyone modified the center cabin on a 1980 H27 to allow for better sleeping arrangements?

The Big Bed

Search the archives for "Big Bed". This is a mod some have done to set up a double bed crossways between and including the two benches in the main cabin.We considered it carefully, then decided set-up and take down would be too much - especially since we have found the benches very comfortable for use. (We also get a lot of use from the V-berth.DavidLady Lillie

main cabin accomdations

I own the boat referenced in the Big Bed. It's great! Take only a few minutes to put together, and I store everything in the quarter birth. I also had a local mastress company make new reqular mastress for the V-birth, makes it like sleeping at home only with the water around you.
