I have a hangked on 100% jib. I have been thinking of a Furler. Can I remake my jig for ruff weather and buy a Genoa. What size should I be looking for, the only Doyle is 130? Will a 150 over drive the boat in calm water? Any suggestions would be appreciated

150% Genoa

Bruce, The OEM genoa spec'd out by Mac and built by Doyle is a 145% sail. The boat does not have a very long genoa track so I would recommend going with that size. If you want to sail with the genoa "reefed" in heavier air you should consider having a Seafoam Luff Pad installed on the sail. Thanks, Bill Colombo Doyle sailmakers
