Hi all,
I had been working on our boat bottom sanding and painting in anticipation of a launch this week. A friend offered an afternoon sail and I was quick to take the offer. We were soon on our way.
Here's where we test Einstein's theory on time slowing down as we marveled about how we raced along at 4 knots. We were soon to test two hopotheses, time standing still and the magnetic quality of stainless. Yep, went forward to change a line by undoing a shackle. As soon as any stainless piece is undone, time slows to a point where you cannot move and helplessly watch as the hardware floating through the air. It is then that the magnetic attraction of the water beckons the floating stainless item and draws it into the drink. Is it a sailors lot to fill the oceans with stainless?
Still a good day sailing.
