For those who are interested, here is a neat little magnetic declination calculator that could be of some use. It gives you the correction to "true" north" for whatever area you sail in.

Bill... maybe you're smarter than most.

Most maps show the declination for that area and are usually updated (but not always) when the map is reprinted. Declination changes over time... as the calculator shows. Some don't realize that, and may not be that critical anyways.
