Great Boat!

I have the 84 31 (Little smaller) other than that there are not too many differances that I can see, although the 34 seems to be a more sought after boat. Good luck!

Good Luck

I Brought a 85 hunter 34 lst year and love the boat..Don't hit any rocks like I did last year off of Cohassit.. I don't know many boats that could strike a rock at 5 knots and not sink..The boat had to be pulled the interior pulled, the keel lowered and reset.. 6 weeks and 14,000.00 dollars later.. Live and learn as they say..But still I just love the boat,it sails fast '7.4 knots off block Island with 4 guys and a dingy in tow..So best of luck on the new adventure..

Congratulations

Hundreds of readers of this Web site envy your buying a 34, for we'd all like to sail that size. Attaboy!

Good shot!

Congrats, you have a good boat. I own, cruise, and race the noted (on the Ches. Bay) 1984 h34 "Heart of Gold". Would not trade it even money for any newer model same size. Now go out and have some fun!
