I picked up my boat in SD Ca, and have sailed it a couple of weeks. Its a fun little toy boat. I find the kick up rudder to be mediocre, the roller reefing cumbersome without a topping lift, the absence of a travelor, vang, cunningham to be very limiting in terms of sailing ability. nevertheless I love the boat for its potential here, on Bahia Sta Inez, and the B. Concecepcion, just to south. in the sea of cortez. Anyone with advice on rigging-I just popped an upper shroud, and the lifelines are shot, -time to rerig. Also thinking about leadin hailyards back, topping lift, lazyjacks. Or maybe to hell with it, throw the rigging away and build a Jester style junk rig! In all seriousnes...advice on sources for rigging,etc?
