If I were there I'd be all over it like white on rice. Looking at it at the very least.

A good design

The Cherubini 30 is a good design. So the questions are:

1. Do you and yours like it?

2. Is it in good condition? This means buying conditioned on a survey, if it passes your inspection.

Looks like a vanilla boat without any extras at a reasonable price, if it is in good condition.

I have a 79 H30. Neighbor at dock has an 81. Both great boats. Mine draws 4ft but the 81 draws 5ft - has an optional deeper keel. It points better than mine, but has a little trouble with our shoaling channel from Smithfield Station on the Pagan river out to the James. All in all, lovely boats that are built like battleships but sail really well. Interior looks newer than original and it overall looks well maintained judging from the photos. I'd jump on it if I didn't already have one.

geez that one looks to be sweet, if the decks show no soft spots and the rig isnt shot (check the chain plates very very carefully) i would say go for it, is it deep or shoal keel.

I haven't gone to look at it. Right now I have a trailerable boat and my monthly expenses are limited. If I go with a 30, I'll have annual slip/dry expenses so I need to really think about the cost of ownership. But I really would like to pull this trigger. Maybe I'll take some time this weekend and contact the seller to make a visit. It does look clean and refreshed.
