Weight
I have the 26M and it weighs 2550 lbs, 1 kg = 2.2 lbs 2550 / 2.2 = 1020kg The trailer is 750 lbs, you can do the calculations from here. You can find engine weights on the internet as different engines have different weights, My Honda 50hp weighs 205 lbs. Not sure about fuel weights as different folks have different size tanks but there must be something on the net that gives the weight of a litre of fuel. I believe on the old British imperial system that one gallon of water (160oz) was 10lbs. Hard to believe you pay double for the yacht given the value of the US$ relative to British currency. Last I heard It was too expensive for us in North America to visit Britain due to the exchange. Maybe it is the cost of shipping. Check out the new Tide 28 made in Cowes, Isle of Wight http://www.tidemarine.com/ it may be less costly being local. There are also some smaller SUV vehicles with 5000 lbs towing rating you may wish to consider. Hope this helps.
