My two Macerators (forward and aft heads) on a Benetau 46 have gone out at the same time. I suspect that it is a fuse problem, but I cannot find the fuses for the macerators, and they do not seem to be listed in the boat's manual. Any help will be most appreciated. Many thanks.

If I remember correctly, they are on breakers on the DC panel. Check for voltage at the switch in the head. If you have 12.5 or so, they impeller is probably stuck and popping the breaker. Remove the pump and motor, take it onto the dock and disassemble the lower part. It might be really icky, so use a bleach solution or Lysol liberally, reassemble the unit with a touch of grease on the rubber impeller. Both of my macerators are frozen from non-use 'cause I use the city pump-out all the time.

DC Breakers

There are a series of 10 amp DC circuit breakers on the WAGO strip in the cabinet above the DC panel. I had the one trip on me that controls the cockpit table light. It is a matter of going down the line to see which one has tripped.
