The wires to the macerator on our Catalina 320 are fried at the pump. Burnt and broken. We do not know how this happened. It would appear there was a short which did not trip the breaker on the panel. At this point we have not yet been able to remove and test the pump. 1- Has this happened to anyone out there? If so, are you aware of what may have caused it? 2- We are thinking of disconnecting the hot lead from the panel, attaching a line to it, and pulling it through from the macerator end in order that we can then attach a new lead to the line and pull it back up to the panel. Your comments and report of a similar problem as well as a possible solution would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bob Seiden
