Hi All,
Most of us are familiar with the Jabsco macerator pump. Works great right up to the time the bolts decay and it starts leaking into the bilge. So I am hoping to replace it with the SeaLand SaniPump discharge pump...

I am planning on building a small platform to attach it to, which will be secured next to the waste tank as well as a little higher than the discharge hose to encourage any waste not evacuated to return into the tank and not sit inside the pump system. This height should also encourage any waste to make its way towards the macerator thru hull.
Since this pump is used 'on top' of the SeaLand waste tank systems I must assume that it will work efficiently in this configuration as well.
So my questions are...
Has anyone replaced their Jabsco with a different macerator pump?
Which one and are you happy with the performance?
Are there any pitfalls I am missing?
as usual, thanks for the help.
