Dear Mac OWNERS I have just came into possesion of a Mac 25 ,1980 I'm told .The boat is in fair shape but need a swing keel and a new mast step.I have the shop to fab almost any part .Could someone please post a closeup pic of a mast step and maybe even a keel on this forum .Thank you. It's not a 25
but, I do have a 22 and a 26. Both are the same style mast step, though a hinged one came out later. (The 22 is a 1980 and the 26S is a 1990.) I live in Dallas. I'd be glad to assist in your rebuild info. You'd be welcome to look at both boats. Both are on trailers, which means the swing keel is fairly visable. I should also mention that there are already numerous articles on these subjects in the archives. There are numerous links on the web site below that deal with the rebuild of Macs. Feel free to email me back if you need more info.
