New to me 84 mac 22. The shroud on the starboard side has a couple broken strands so I'll diy replacement. (The one that goes through the spreader). Some questions
1. Wire rope is 1/8" diameter, right?
2. What kind of crimp should I get , aluminum or stainless steel?
3. Not sure of the name of the part, but I think forestay is missing the turnbuckle?

Sailboat rigging is almost always stainless steel. You can get DIY "swageless" terminals that are screwed together to clamp the wire. Sta-Lok and Norseman are two popular brands. Swaged fittings (not crimped) are cheaper, but you should not do your own (unless you actually have access to a roller swage machine). Crimped wire like in your picture is dubious. You might get away with it on a 22ft boat, but I'd go with conventional swaged or swageless fittings.
Any rigging shop can make some for you, or there are mail order places too. Rigging Only is a popular one. Sailboat Rigging,Hardware & Accessories | Rigging Only's Online Store

The SBO store has the turnbuckle you need. Call them if you are unsure which part you need. They are very helpful.

I used to have an M22. The rigging is definitly SS so you should only use SS fittings to prevent dissimilar metal corrosion.

The rigging on a 22' boat will not have the massive loads that a 30 foot boat will have so... you can get away with less expensive DIY approaches. Tractor Supply has some fairly good SS wire rope and they also sell SS wire rope nuts. They are cheap so use two on each bail... like this. Put a few drops of locktight on the nuts and then go sailing.
