The bearing seized on my 87' M25 fresh water pump. The cross over to Kubota is their D-950 tractor engine. The Kubota water pump number is 15534-73030. gasket 15676-73430. Purchased online for $103 with shipping. Universal wanted $200 for the pump alone. Nuts!

M25 Fresh or Raw Water Pump
Richard Was the pump the one run by the pulley or the one that pumps the seawater in through the heat exchanger. Seems that $103 is a great deal, but not enough to cover replacing the fresh water pump, which is inside the engine. Please confirm, thanks. Also, previous posts have mentioned the M25 being the Kubota D850, rather than the 950. Any ideas on any differences, or was my reference a typo? Stu

The differences in the Kubota engine numbers are as follows: M-25 D-850 M-25XP D-950 There is a slight horse power and max rpm difference between the two engines. Hope this helps -Jack
