I used to live in New Orleans and had dealings with Mike. I worked at a boat shop, (Tradewinds, now closed) and skippered a larger boat (Gulfstar 50). We would get a bottom job from him every year (we painted every year whether the boat needed it or not; the owner was not afraid to spend $$$ on his boat). I knew him when he was younger and new to the boat business (1985). He's been in business awhile in New Orleans, which can be a tough place to do business. I'd do business with him again.
