I'm selling my Catalina and looking closely at a 1967 Morgan 34 which is for sale in our marina. It has to have blisters repaired some of the blisters are old ones which may not have been repaired correctly the first time. Are blisters a common problem with this model. Are there problems with the center board. Having owned 2 boats with swing keels/center boards they can be cause for extra maintenance and problems. Thank you for any responses I really like the looks of this boat and what appears to be a stable/stiff design

Get this boat surveyed and discuss the problem with him. There are blisters and there are blisters. A few are not really a problem - pop 'em, dry 'em, West 'em. The old Morgans are well made boats with great lines.
