thanks david

first of all what is the difference between a m30-302 and a m30 o/i. my boat was damaged by a fire in the forward berth i have since repaired the damage but i don't know what the inside looked like especially the main salon area. how did they finish the joint between the hull and deck? i am hauling out in a few days and plan to spend a while making the inside nice any ideas on where to find pictures of the inside of one of these boats? thankyou for your interest by the way where is bedford i lived for a while in norfolk

response to morgan 302

one of only 2 models designed as ocean racers by charley morgan,i have the other model 272,which is for sale,i now own a catalina 30. the 302 is the same boat as the 272 only 3 feet larger. it displaces 10,000 lbs,5,000 ballast,503 square feet of sail erea, keel stepped mast, radically swept back keel, skeg mounted rudder, very strong, fast boat, good club racer or ocean going boat.

The first boat I ever sailed was a Morgan 302. My brother owned it. Great boat, we used to blow away a lot of bigger boats. She went upwind like an an animal. The previous owner had used her for racing so we had alot of big sails on board. I have seen a couple of others like her up here in Puget Sound and I am told that "Primo" is still around. Really miss that boat- she was the reason I bought my Catalina 30 and spent 5 yrs as a livaboard. What year is yours? Don "Descente"
