The funny thing I'm finding is that the US suppliers are cheaper than the Canadian ones.

That's not actually a surprise.
There has always been a disparity in US pricing vs Canada. We were cushioned enough when our dollar was up that it wasn't worth importing. Now with the Loonie crashing we are screwed both ways
