M-25 engine issues

I have oil leaking around speed control plate on my Universal M25 engine. Has anyone experience this issue and did you do fix it

No experience but here's a diagram of the speed control, most likely one of the gaskets (3, 13) is not sealing correctly. Clean it up and see if you can locate the source of the leak using clean paper towels.

Are you SURE, really sure, that it is not from the weep holes on the raw water pump?

Some of those parts should not be disturbed. They control critical settings. Be careful.
