I have read that you should lubricate all seacocks on your boat in the winterizing process, then close them for the winter. My question is: What do you lubricate with and what is the process?

Waterproof grease
Most any waterproof grease will work. I use trailer axle bearing grease. Winch grease will work too. Spartan Marine in Maine, which makes bronze seacockcs, sells seacock grease.
