Have recently purchased a used 393. It was laid up for the winter and we are not able to get gas flowing to stove elements (tanks are full). Is this likely due to a malfunctioning solenoid at the tanks?
Tks
solenoid is most probable cause we had the same problem with our B 321 barely enough gas to light stove
(with some one stationed at the solenoid have another person turn the power on for the valve there should be an audable and strong "click" when the valve opens. On ours there was a muted click(old valve) replaced valve and system operating as designed. there is also the possibility of an isolaying valve in the system
Many Beneteaus built 03/04 came with defective solenoids that quit after a while. Beneteau replaced some of these. Actually they referred me to the manufacturer who promptly sent me a new one.
Check the pinhole under the gas jets, it supplies the gas to the gas head. It often becomes clogged with over zealous cleaning, or oxidization, in my case, not in the pinhole but the surrounds.
