Lowered Mast Distance to Waterline

With the mast lowered and resting on the crutch, what is the distance from the mast tip down to the waterline. I've got a bridge problem to deal with!!

9 1/2 ft?

I'll guess about 9 1/2 feet. 6 1/2 for the crutch plus the angle of the mast will slant up toward the stern. It may depend on how much weight is aft too since it would change that angle.

240 mast top on trailer

I am told that the tip of the mast on my 240 is 11' off the ground when the boat is on the standard Magic Tilt trailer. This looks to be very close to accurate. What it is on the water I don't know.

Clearance

My mast scraped a bridge that said 11' clearance. No damage but scary. I use a 3" drop hitch which raises the mast.
