Low water pressure

Our 2010 Beneteau has pressurized water for our sinks, taps, etc. It's a Johnson water pump but I can't read the series/model.

Anywhoo, one day I ran the water pump trying to flush out the antifreeze from the system after the winter. Now, I have lower water pressure than normal. The filter screen looks fine (no blockage).

Does anybody have any idea what may be causing the low water pressure out of the taps?

Thanks.

Check and clean the airaterd at each of the faucets before looking for a pump problem.

Agree with the check the faucets first. Other possibilities is the pump valves are leaking. This is pretty easy to tell as the pump will cycle on even with the faucets closed as water leaks backward through the pump valve.

If faucets are clean, then Bill is right the valves are leaking. This is caused by the non-toxic $3/Gallon antifreeze left in the lines and the pump over the winter. It will not affect the lines but it damages the valve seals in the pump. I learned it the hard way and had to repair my fresh water and my wash down pump. Now I still use it but I disconnect the lines and run the more expensive Star-Brite antifreeze for engine and plumbing through the pumps before closing for the winter. No problem since.

Check the Hot water screens and I had very low water pressure on the Hot water side and it was the Hot Water Tank screen and cleaned it out and now real good pressure again.
And there is a screen on the water pump also.

Semi-related so I'm going to throw it in there: an alternative to any of the antifreezes is to drain your tanks and blow out the water lines with 20-30 lbs of air. No taste issues in the spring either.
