Low maintenance exterior trim

I like this idea. I was contemplating the eyebrow next. I was leaning towards paint or a uv resistant rubber/plastic adhered with Dow Corning 795. How is your stripe applied?

My apologies for a delayed response. The stripe sold here, which I used, is adhesive backed. You place a guide line with blue tape first and get that right, then lay the stripe so it butts against you blue tape guide. You peel the backing off the stripe as you go. I sold the boat 1.5 years after applying the strip and it still looked like the day I put it on.
