Loud, squeaky hatch when opening, C270

Hey all,
I have this Catalina 270 that no matter what I try, the hatch, when cold, screeches really loudly when opening. I've tried sailkote on every surface I can get to. The hatch is not removable...the boat is a 2006.
Anyone else had this problem?

I saw one person who lifted the hatch up a bit, then put a piece of nylon or similar material on the slide (bottom) part of the hatch...said it helped solve the problem you described.

Just came back from the last sail of the Tahoe season aboard the 270. It was chilly, but nice winds and beautiful!
