Lots of storage but how much is really practical?

I recently purchased a Macgregor 26S and was impressed with how much space there is for putting stuff in one of these boats. The drawback I found was that a lot of this storage either has too small of opens or is really not very practical. Let me clarify, where does one store plates, eating utensils, cups and glasses? How about towels and and dock lines? I find that the storage areas under the sink and seats could be good but small things would certainly get lost in no man's land if they were to roll down the back of the boat. Has anyone done anything to fix this problem?

So Much Space. . . .

Those under the seat, or v berth spaces tend to have a little water, I don't use them much- Yet. I plan to add some dry boxes to these spaces. So far, the supposed "ice-chest" and under the bed are my favorite spaces. Modifications are the way to go for these boats. my favorite link is: http://www.macgregor-boats.com/ Good, helpful folks. As they said, "The first cut is the hardest."
