Lost rudder

Our Catalina 22 rudder dissapeared in N. Ca. If there is a used one out there, weed like to noe bowdit.

Also, we have fixed keel, looking for used trailer.

Disappeared as in "it fell off the back of the boat" or as in "one day, we showed up and it was gone"?

Pearson made many of their boats with aluminum rudder shafts. Ours needed to be replace because it corroded from the inside out, hissing salt water through tiny holes where the shaft meets the rudder.

Rudders have been found at the bottom harbors because they fell off while boats where at their mooring. We bought a new SS rudder from D&R Marine in Assonet, MA.

Usually remove to interior, but sailing partner took tiller off to re-face and forgot rudder in it's hardware. Just dissapeared. Maybe we ortah dive for it.

C22 rudders are foam filled so they float. chances are someone lifted it..
Give catalina direct a call in sacramento or are they in rancho cordova, anyway, Lowell might know where there is a used one.........
