Lost plexiglass hatch board

Lost my original hunter 26 bottom plexiglass hatch board in the drink on a heal. I made a Temp out of plywood but this did not hold up for long. Anyone know where I can get a plexi- replacement (new or used)?

I recently replaced mine

...by ordering all three pieces from Hunter for my 1995 23.5 (US$150). I don't know if they are sold separately. On the 23.5, only the centre piece is plexiglass, the top and bottom are teak. And guess what? The new factory door pieces stack up to be an inch too high so I'm looking for a friend with a table saw...Call Hunter and ask Mike in parts at 1-800-771-5556 ext 3015 or go through your dealer.

Get them made at a plastics outlet.

Just look up plexiglass in the phone book and find an outlet. They will make you whatrever you need.

Rick, before you start cutting make sure each...

long edge between each board has a matching bevel with the next board. The bevel is important as a water/drip seal as opposed to a butt cut that will weep water.Terry

(just kidding)Yes, indeed! Thanks for the reminder.I have to look more carefully, but I think I'll cut the very top of the top door piece, which is rounded. If I cut anywhere else, the pieces will sit lower and could then be too tight side-to-side.I'm waiting until my companionway door comes before replacing the door and other wood pieces. I hope those snaps are easy to line up and install!
